I have tried reaching out to Journey through chat, but unfortunately it seems that I cannot coordinate when they are available with the times that I am off work.

I started out having Journey on my iPhone 8 and computer, during the summer and early fall of 2023, I made a fair number of entries on the iPhone in Journey. We were in the middle of selling our home and there is a lot of sentimental entries I made that I would prefer not to lose.

After moving into our new place, I bought an Android phone, I was able to sync that phone with the PC, but when I tried syncing the iPhone with the PC I can't as it appears I am no longer logged into the iPhone, but the last entries that I want are showing. So here's what happens, I open Journey on my iPhone 8 and I see the entries end back in September 2023, these are the ones I want to sync. If I press the sync button in the top left corner, it asks me to log in. I select the Gmail log in, and as soon as I do that, I get a warning that something is wrong and I had better back things up if I don't want to lose them. I don't know how to back up if I can't even log in.

The same Gmail account is used for logging in on the PC and new Android device, but I have no idea what is going on with my old iPhone 8

Any help is appreciated.

    Bigguy2468 Hi! I'm sorry to hear that you're experiencing this error message. This error occurs when you have changed your Google credentials (such as your password) in the past, which results in you being logged out of your account on all devices and apps (including Journey).

    Please follow these steps:

    1. Do not uninstall or log out of the app.
    2. Check if your journal entries can be found in the web app.
    3. If there are missing entries, please back up your journal entries to a zip file in the mobile app. You can find instructions on how to do this here: Archive Journal Entries to Zip Format.
    4. Once you have successfully backed up your journal entries, please log out and then log back into your account.
