Select Tags In Entry Edit Mode

Hello,

When I write a journal entry (I use Journey Cloud Sync), I cannot select any tags from the tags list because nothing shows. Why is this? As a workaround, I use the Android app to apply the tag(s) to any newly saved entry. Will there be an option for the Web app like there is on Android, where you can just select tags from a list in entry edit mode?

Going to try bumping this unanswered question, since I'm having the same problem.

I'm using the web app, and when I go to select tags, my only options is to enter them from memory. I'm only five days into a lifetime subscription and I'm certain that a week from now, let alone a lifetime, I won't remember the tags I'm using.

It doesn't make any sense to have tags, but not being able to re-use them from post to post.

This thread started in Dec 2023, was updated in March 2024 and I added to it 16-days ago.
Based on this post, and other more current posts, this forum doesn't seem to get the attention it deserves.

Click "⋮" while editing, choose "Tags," then add existing or new ones. Tags appear in the sidebar for easy filtering.

Twesterlind That menu doesn't exist in the web app version of Journey, except when you read the individual entry, where it provides options to duplicate the entry, save as a template, etc.

The only tagging option exists when you're actually editing the entry, via icon at the bottom. A pop up provides the options to add tags, but none of the previously used tags are listed, so you have to enter them from memory.

I often use Journey at work, but can't install the Windows app. What I end up doing - but I don't think should have to - is edit the entry later in the day, and add any missing tags.

Journey seems to have ignored this thread, which is disheartening, but I have solved the problem by typing slowly. The solution requires you to have memorized, or at least be familiar with your own tags.

SOLUTION: After you have selected the tags icon at the bottom of the web version of Journey, begin to type what you believe your tag to be. If you wait a moment, any similar tags from your list will appear. If you don't know the tags off by heart, or at least have a passing familiarity with them, nothing will appear. But, since we tend to use the same tags over and over, you should find this works.
