I have used Journey for about 7 years on Android and Windows PC. I just recently bought an Apple MacBook, and I have all the Journey features like stories and even strikethrough font blocked behind "membership." On my Android phone it says I am a Premium user, on MacOS it says I am using the Free version.

I paid for Premium on Android and on the PC (USA resident), does that mean I have to pay for it again on iOS? If that's the case, how do I just get Premium back and not "Membership"? I don't see an option for Premium anywhere. I will never sign up for any software subscriptions.

Note that this exact same question was asked at https://forum.journey.cloud/d/23-premiummembership-after-move-to-ios and was not answered in the forum. Please provide an answer.

Bee-Deutung Hi! It sounds like you're having trouble with your Journey app features on your new MacBook. The Premium license you purchased for your Android and Windows PC only works on those platforms, which is why you're seeing limited features on MacOS.

Membership is different from Premium. It's a subscription that gives you full access to Journey on all platforms, including MacOS and web services. Unfortunately, your existing Premium license can't be transferred to MacOS.

For more details on the differences between Premium and Membership, please check the help desk article. If you prefer not to use subscriptions, feel free to contact our customer support to see if they have any updates or solutions that might work for you.

Thanks for your clarification, much appreciated.

    This feature is coming soon."

I'd love to purchase a Premium license for Mac as soon as it becomes available. How can I receive a notification once it is available?

Bee-Deutung Thank you for your interest in the Journey Desktop Premium license! We are currently working on enhancing our infrastructure to support a single license platform. We will announce when the Premium license becomes available.
