For Journal desktop app, we only have to enter passcode or use biometric unlock the first time we open it. When we switch to other APPs, Journal desktop app won't lock itself, so when we switch back to Journal, we don't need any authentication. I think this is not safe enough and i am wondering if it is possible to add auto / manual lock feature?

Thanks

John changed the title to Request for lock timeout .

gangzhou01 We can consider adding timeout (in seconds). It might be disruptive if we lock the app if it is put in the background.

thanks john for considering this request.
yes i agree sometimes it might be disruptive.
I tried Diarly in the past, when it goes background and is accidently switch to foreground, the fingerprint authentication pops up and it never goes away even i switch to other APPs, i have to unlock it (though i don't want to) and then make the switch, which is really annoying.

@gangzhou01 We've implemented this feature and it will be included in subsequent updates. Thanks!
