I am using Journey Desktop 2024 set to “Japanese”.
(Windows11PC and Windows10PC)

On the timeline and journal edit screen,
The date and time is displayed as “2024年9月15日 13:55” in Japanese mode,
but...

◆Timeline and Edit Journal screen
The day of the week is not displayed.

◆The contents of the currently selected journal displayed next to the timeline
"15 September 2024
Sunday 13:55”.
it is displayed in English style.

I can understand it as it is, so it is not a big inconvenience, but it would be nice if it could be fixed.

John changed the title to Date/day format not localized .

Hi bona , thanks for reporting this issue. I believe that this is a bug. We'll get it fix in the next update. Thanks!

@bona We've fixed this bug. 🙂 This will be pushed in the next update.

    Thank you very much.
In version 5.0.13, the date display has changed to Japanese style.
(The sample image you pasted looks delicious! 😆)

    12 days later

    Sorry for repeating again.

The right side date view has been localized into Japanese, though, and everything is now displayed,
    (Thank you!)

There is still no indication of the day of the week (Sun,Mon,Tue...) on the timeline (in the list on the left side of the screen) or at the top of the journal editing screen.
In the old DesktopApp, the days of the week were displayed in these places as well,
Is it a specification that Desktop 2024 does not display the day of the week in these places?
If possible, I would be glad to have the day of the week displayed in all places like in the old DesktopApp.

@bona Yes, that would be possible! Could you create a new thread in the forum related to this request? Our team will follow up with you on the progress. Thanks! 🙂

    I'll repost it. Thanks. 😊

    Thank you!
