I have recently taken a full membership of Journey after looking into both Journey and Day One. For me Journey is the better option. 
. However, there are a few annoyances that the beta web client has that need addressing IMHO. I use the web client on Windows.
1) I am forever being asked to provide the decrypt paraphrase multiple times for each session. Sometimes when I start a session Journey seems to default to display the last session entry ready for edit mode, I am always careful to exit to the home screen in Journey, but this does not seem to be always or often be honoured when starting Journey web client the next time. So I open Journey and it shows the last or previous entry and then asks me to provide the decrypt paraphrase. After providing that I can now press the left-hand arrow to get to the home screen where I am again asked for the paraphrase. There have been occasions that I am again asked for the paraphrase when saving an edited entry. Frustrating!!!
2) Trying to add a photograph using the beta web client the only option is to add one from some URL..... excuse me..... I want to add photos from the file system. This morning I tried to add a photo from the file system which I converted to a file system URL but that didn't work either. The I just tried a Windows copy and paste, no joy, then a drop copy from Windows explorer still no joy. Eventually I managed to attach the photo to the entry via my android phone. So not all was lost. Seems a bit rough round the edges.
3) Entry display. The home screen only displays about 5 or 6 entries before I am prompted to display more. This makes scrolling through entries 
I like the format of my android tablet that lets me scroll though entries on the left and display details on the right that is awesome
Please don't take this as I am unhappy with the web client but attending to the above areas would take Journey web client from good to awesome.
